Term 2 Middle School Reflections and Term 3 Outlook
As Term 2 draws to a close, it is an opportune moment to reflect on the remarkable achievements of our Middle School students throughout the semester. This has been a term marked by high levels of engagement, meaningful learning experiences, and commendable student growth. We are exceptionally proud of the progress made across the Middle School community.
Our Year 10 students have demonstrated strong commitment and maturity, participating in a variety of future-focused activities. These included the Level Up lessons, attendance at the Mega Career Expo, and, most significantly, the completion of their Senior Education and Training (SET) Plans. These experiences have equipped students with valuable insights and direction as they begin to consider their senior schooling and post-school pathways.
Year 9 students have also had a productive and inspiring term. Their learning was enriched by a number of sessions delivered by external organisations. We extend our sincere appreciation to Central Queensland University (CQU), Darumbal Community Youth Services, Queensland Rail, The Smith Family, and the Grin & Tonic theatre troupe for providing engaging and impactful presentations that broadened our students’ understanding of the world beyond the classroom.
